There are plenty of retro games that hearken back to the days of 8-bit and 16-bit consoles, but not many that show the ZX Spectrum much love. But that is no longer the case, have Tikipod created a game that is both fun to play and an affectionate love letter to a simpler era? Or has the cassette just jammed our tape players instead?

Please comment, like, subscribe and all that other jazz.

UPDATE

Turns out the developer was a fan of the review…

Whoops…

Well it looks like I’ve really neglected this little site recently, because of that it looks as though I haven’t done anything at all over the last few months… which err… isn’t really the case at all.

The truth is while I haven’t created as much content as I would have liked, I have in fact been writing and creating things. I’ve actually been solely posting what I’ve made on Manic Expression only, this isn’t because I’ve chosen to abandon this site, it’s because I have a memory like a fucking sieve and forgot to post them up on here.

HURRR FUCKING DURRR

So what I intend to do over the next few weeks is to post my recent content on here, don’t worry I’m not going to go ahead and do it all in one day., I’m not that big of a prick (SHUT UP).

Now I also have couple of videos finished and ready to upload as well as one review which is nearly finished and another that shouldn’t really take too long. So what you should see is more content over the course of the summer and if I don’t deliver on that… well you can call me out on my bullshit.

In the meantime feel free to either wait for content to be posted here, or head on over to Manic Expression and view it there.

Incidentally, knowing the type of person I am would any of you be interested in watching Let’s Plays? It gives me quick content to produce for you whilst I work on the longer (and more time consuming) videos/reviews. This would mean that I can (hopefully) stick to a reasonable schedule of, at the very least, one video review a month.

Let me know what you guys think.

Cheers,

– Matt

Lost on the Warp Pipe

Hi guys,

This is just a quick update regarding the next Middle Earth Month video, it is finished so it will be up. It will most likely be uploaded later today (roughly 7-8pm), I understand it’s taken longer than I promised, but I’ve had serious issues with my PC blue-screening/crashing. At one point this resulted in me losing 30-40 minutes of hard work, which was very demotivating, hell it even crashed yesterday when I was rendering out the final version.

At least now I have a good week and a half to finish off the final video!
